SCHEDULE OF REUNION EVENTS
This page is devoted to the schedule of events for our 50 Year Reunion. Since this is the Golden Anniversary Celebration of Our Graduation in 1956, we would hope as many of our classmates as possible will attend.
DATE: FRIDAY, AUGUST 4, 2006
Time: 6:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
Place: Museum of Nature and Science (Use West Entrance)
Location: City Park – Montview Blvd. at Colorado Blvd.
What: Buffet Dinner/Cash Bar
Cost: $65.00 per person
Dress: Casual Elegance
We will have the use of the Schlessman Lobby, the Leprino Family Atrium, the Anschutz Family Sky Terrace, and a fourth floor open-air terrace for viewing the night sky. This facility is well known for having the best view in Denver (floor to ceiling windows): City Park, Denver`s Skyline (Including East High), and our beautiful Rocky Mountains. We will also have exclusive use of the Space Odyssey exhibit and the South Pacific and Australia exhibits.
6:30 p.m. Cocktails (Cash Bar) and Hors D`Oeuvres
7:00 p.m. Buffet food stations – Featuring award-winning menus with a wide varietry of gourmet foods: salad made to order, baron of beef, pasta made to order, chicken, and more .
Dessert and Coffee will be served at the Sky Terrace to top off the evening.

What: A Tour of East and A Box Lunch in the Park
Cost: The Tour of East is free. The Box Lunch is $8.00 per person
Dress: Ultra Casual (Shorts, T-Shirts OK)
Menu: A sandwich (Ham or Turkey), chips, soda pop or water, and a cookie. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Time: 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Place: The Glenmoor Country Club
What: A Breakfast Buffet/Cash Bar
Cost: $30.00 per person
Dress: Business Casual (No Denim, No T-shirts)
The buffet will have chilled cranberry and fresh-squeezed orange juices; fresh brewed coffee, decaf, and assorted herbal teas; an assortment of fresh fruit; fresh baked muffins, danish, and breakfast breads; country scrambled eggs; apple-smoked bacon and sausage links; and golden hash browns too. There will be a fully stocked cash bar on the patio. Champagne anyone?
The air conditioned dining area opens onto an expansive patio that overlooks an olympic-size pool. It will be a great place to bid fond farewells until we meet again in 2011.
THE 50 YEAR REUNION MEMORY BOOK
The Memory Book will cost $30.00 per copy ($40.00 per copy after July 1, 2006). Those classmates who have paid five years (2001 – 2005) of dues to the Class of `56 Alumni Association will receive one free memory book.
Richard Nelson, a longtime East High teacher has written a book entitled: Flights of Angels: A History of Denver East High School 1874 – 2004. He will be at our Saturday Morning Events and will have copies of the book for Sale. Cost is $20. with proceeds going to the East High Historical Society
